At SimpleStock, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our warehouse management platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, company name, and phone number during registration. We also collect usage data including login times, features used, and browser information to improve the Service. Warehouse data (inventory, movements, client information) is stored securely and belongs entirely to you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the SimpleStock service, process payments through Stripe, send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing notifications), provide customer support, and improve our platform based on aggregate usage patterns. We never sell your personal data.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3 encryption. We perform automated daily backups with 30-day retention. Our infrastructure runs on SOC 2 compliant cloud providers with enterprise-grade security. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with multi-factor authentication.
4. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation
SimpleStock uses a multi-tenant architecture where each customer's data is logically isolated. No customer can access another customer's data. All API endpoints enforce tenant-level access controls, and database queries are scoped to the authenticated user's organization.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing, DigitalOcean for cloud hosting, and Let's Encrypt for SSL certificates. Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We do not share your warehouse data with any third parties.
6. Cookies
SimpleStock uses essential cookies for authentication (httpOnly session cookies) and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data in standard formats (CSV), and withdraw consent for optional communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@simplestockus.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, your data remains available for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems and backups within 90 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the Service. The date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
